Singapore NetRiders Competition 2014

The NetRiders Competition is a world-wide competition organised by Cisco Systems for students in the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) program. Cisco Systems Singapore, with the support of iDA, organised the Singapore NetRiders Competition 2014 which was hosted at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The objective is to bring together students from the various institutions of higher learning to pit their networking abilities. The winning team will represent Singapore in the regional Netriders Competition.

One hundred and two students from the 5 Polytechnics and ITE gathered at LT58A, Ngee Ann Polytechnic on 26th September 2014. Lee Zhen Hao and Daniel Lee from Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) emerged champion after over two and a half hours of theory and practical skills contests.

The event culminated with a speech by Mr. Joshua Soh, MD of Cisco Systems (Singapore & Brunei), and prize presentation by Ms Velda Oh, Senior Manager from iDA.
